Ahhhh…everyone should get a day at sea.
Not much to write. Got up at our leisure and strolled down to a prepared scrumptious breakfast and then picked a spot to eat on the back of the ship overlooking the blue sea. After breakfast, we meandered up to the top deck in the very front of the ship, and chose our spot for the day. Our goal was to catch up to date on our blog and pictures so we worked on that for most of the morning, as the ship glided along on a beautiful sunny day with a nice sea breeze. For lunch we went down a deck to a buffet choice of way too many favorites: Cerviche, pasta dishes, prime rib, turkey, and of course dessert – carrot cake and chocolate torte.
Of course, after that, since we have now entered Spanish waters, we took a siesta back up on the 12th deck. Surprisingly, we had picked a spot that stayed very uncrowded and quiet, so the entire day was very peaceful.
The day went by way too quickly and we went back to our cabin to get ready for dinner.
Tonight was a more formal night and had both steak and lobster tail on the menu. Here is a picture of the group – George and Barbara from Fife, Alec and Jean from Nottingham, and Brian and Betty from Manchester. Quite an interesting crew!
Buenas noches
